Seasonal Flu

The children's flu vaccine is offered as a yearly nasal spray to young children to help protect them against flu.

Diphtheria, Tetanus & Polio (DTP), Meningococcal ACWY

The Td/IPV is given as a single jab containing vaccines against diphtheria, tetanus and polio. MenACWY vaccine is also given as a single jab containing vaccines against meningitis A, C, W and Y.

Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)

HPV vaccine is offered to all boys and girls from year 8. HPV Vaccine protects against cervical cancer, some mouth and throat cancers and some cancers of the anus and genital areas.

Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR)

MMR is a safe and effective combined vaccine that protects against 3 separate illnesses – measles, mumps and rubella (German measles) – in a single injection. The full course of MMR vaccination requires 2 doses.

Diphtheria, Tetanus, Whooping Cough and Polio (DTaP) Preschool Booster

The Pre-school booster vaccine or 4 in 1 as it is sometimes called, is given as a single jab containing vaccines against diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough and polio (DTaP). The pre-school booster vaccine is routinely offered to children at the age of 3 years and 4 months old at the GP surgery and further increases some of the protection your child already has from having the 6-in-1 vaccine at 8, 12 and 16 weeks old.
